MUSIC ON THE PORCH JULY 20
Jeff Little was the featured performer Sunday, July 20, as part of DeKalb’s Joseph F. Glidden Homestead "Music on the Porch" series. He was accompanied by vocalist Zachary Harris.
The audience enjoyed a relaxing afternoon of music on the spacious lawn of the Glidden Homestead, located between Burger King and Copy Service on West Lincoln Highway.
Little describes himself as a "self-employed entertainer." He sings, plays keyboard and is an actor. He has appeared in hundreds of productions on stage, in television and films, including "Flags of Our Fathers," "The Break-Up," "Lakehouse," and "Prison Break." He lives in Waterman and also has appeared with the Lyric Opera, and at Orchestra Hall, Chicago. He toured with the road company of "1776" and has performed on cruise ships, at resorts, hotels, conventions and restaurants.
Little's program included Broadway tunes, Cole Porter, and Gershwin numbers.
Harris has performed this summer as featured vocalist with the DeKalb Municipal Band at a Concert in the Park at Hopkins Park. Harris also has performed at The House Cafe, StageCoach Players, Just Make it Happen concerts, Kishwaukee College Theatre, and with the Shananigans.
