The Glidden Homestead and Historical Center has two garden areas: In the front are our lovely ornamental beds, and in the back near the barn we have a native prairie garden. Both areas need weeding and trimming throughout the spring and summer. We will also need volunteers for planting seeds and plugs in spring and fall. Other year-round tasks can include picking up trash, watering the plants, and helping us plan future gardens. 

This position’s time commitment is flexible; we will work with your schedule. We do have Sunday Garden Clean-up Days every couple of months.
